The basics

What we do and who it's for

What does Next Level Business Consulting actually do?
We're a hands-on consulting firm for owners of $1M–$10M businesses. We diagnose what's holding your company back — money leaks, missing systems, team problems, stalled growth — price every problem in dollars per year, then implement the fixes beside you and your team until the results show up in your financial statements. See exactly how an engagement works.
What size of business do you work with?
Our sweet spot is established companies between $1M and $10M in annual revenue — real teams, real operations, where hands-on work moves the needle fastest. Smaller or larger? Complete the assessment anyway; if we're not the right investment for you, we'll say so on the first call and point you somewhere useful.
What industries do you know?
Engagements have covered construction and trades, plumbing, pools, transportation and logistics, oil field services, diesel products, manufacturing, media production, and more. The discipline transfers because the problems repeat: pricing, job costs, labor utilization, systems, people. See the client results across industries.
Who will I actually work with?
Armando Juarez personally — an Accredited Small Business Consultant (ASBC), SCORE Certified Mentor, recognized among the top 1% of consultants after serving 300+ companies. No junior analysts, no hand-offs after the sale. His full background is here.
My problem doesn't fit a neat category. Can you still help?
Most don't. Owners come to us with symptoms — "payroll is scary", "I can't step away", "we grew and profit shrank" — and the diagnosis is our job. Start from the problems we solve, or just describe your situation in the assessment.
Money

Cost, guarantee, and return

How much does consulting cost?
Every engagement is scoped after discovery, because the work depends on what we find. What's fixed is the economics: the 2×1 guarantee means every dollar you invest must return at least two in net profit — so the engagement is designed to pay for itself twice over, in writing, before you commit.
What exactly does the 2×1 guarantee promise?
At least two dollars of additional net profit for every dollar invested in consulting — measured in your own financial statements, on a basis defined in the engagement agreement, agreed before we start. Not revenue, not projections on a slide: net profit. The full terms are explained here.
How can you afford to guarantee results?
Because discovery comes first. Before the guarantee goes in writing we've already priced your money leaks — the way clients like Lone Ranger Well Service ($1,487,046 identified) and American Oil Company (~$847,000) saw their numbers before committing. We only make the commitment when the found opportunity comfortably clears it, which is also why we're selective about who we take.
How fast will I see results?
Cash-stabilizing moves typically start within the first two weeks. Structural improvements — pricing, job costing, labor utilization — usually begin showing in monthly statements within the first quarter. One client gained over $100K in net profit within a week of engagement; that's not typical, but it shows what found money looks like when the leak is big and the fix is fast.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes — the assessment, the first call, and the working consultation cost nothing and commit you to nothing. You'll leave with at least one insight worth acting on whether or not we go further.
Logistics

Time, place, and people

How much of my time will this take?
Discovery mostly uses our time — we observe your operation working normally. During implementation, plan on one weekly working session with your management team plus the follow-through your managers own. The engagement is designed to give you hours back, not consume them.
Do you work on-site or remotely?
Both. Dallas–Fort Worth clients get regular on-site work — that's our home turf. National clients combine on-site immersion visits with weekly remote sessions, a format that has produced some of our best documented results.
Will my employees or customers know a consultant is involved?
That's your call, and we help you script it either way. On-site, Armando works as part of your management team. In our experience crews respond with relief — they've usually seen the problems longer than the owner thinks.
How long does an engagement last?
Until the agreed goals are reached and your team runs the new systems without us — not a day longer. The point of the method is to build muscle that stays after we leave; open-ended retainers are the opposite of that.
Do you speak Spanish?
Sí. Consultations and working sessions are available in English or Spanish — useful for DFW crews and family businesses where the shop floor runs bilingual.
Trust

Proof, credentials, and fit

How do I know any of this is real?
Check everything: client testimonials with names and companies, his ASBC accreditation, SCORE Certified Mentor status, and the VoyageDallas "Hidden Gems" feature on the About page. Then bring your hardest questions to the first call — skepticism is a fine starting point.
We've been burned by consultants before. Why is this different?
Three structural differences: discovery happens inside your operation, not from a questionnaire; every recommendation is priced in dollars so priorities are transparent; and compensation sits behind the 2×1 guarantee, so the risk of a binder-on-the-shelf engagement is ours, not yours.
What if we're not a fit?
Then you'll hear it in the first conversation, along with where to look instead — SCORE mentoring, a specialist, or a different timing. Saying no early is part of how the guarantee stays honest.
What should I prepare before the first call?
Nothing formal. Know your rough revenue, headcount, and the two or three things that frustrate you most. If you have financial statements handy, later conversations go faster — but the first call is about understanding your situation, not auditing you.
